Course number : 2191
« back to classes page

Join us for this fun class where you will learn the ancient art of hand-lettering. Uncial is often called the Early Christian Alphabet as the letterforms dominated Middle Ages manuscripts. The alphabet is composed of all capital letters. It is very legible and its simplicity makes it quite useful in contemporary calligraphy. You will use broad edged markers to produce cards, posters and art projects. Students must supply materials listed on confirmation and website.
