Curious about the role of cap and trade in the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions? Join us to learn more about the various approaches to climate change policy and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each. Instructor, Elizabeth Lokey Aldrich, PhD., has extensive industry and will share real-world examples of how these markets function. Examples of greenhouse gas markets domestically and abroad will be highlighted and the class will engage in a cap-and-trade simulation as well as the creation of practical recommendations for Truckee's own Climate Action Plan.
