Course covers adult and pediatric CPR, including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag-valve mask. It also covers foreign-body airway obstruction (conscious and unconscious), automated external defibrillation (includes child AED update), special resuscitation situations, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies. The course is intended for certified or non-certified, licensed or non-licensed healthcare providers including physicians, nurses, medical technicians, pharmacy technicians and other allied health personnel. Two-year certification is provided upon successful completion of course and written exam. Approved by the American Heart Association.
