Join us for a free information session about Sierra College’s new Construction Fundamentals training program developed in partnership with the North State Building Industry Association that launches this fall. Courses are noncredit, tuition-free and accelerated to help students gain the essentials skills needed to start a career in the trades and building industry in just a few months. Learn to interpret trade calculations, take accurate measurements, read blueprints, handle equipment and materials, basic building and installation methods and practice safety construction techniques according to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. At the end of successful completion of the 117-hour, hands-on program, you’ll acquire additional work experience and explore job opportunities through a paid externship coordinated by the North State Builders Industry Association.
The informal information session will walk you through all of the program details, including how to get registered. You’ll also meet the instructor and have plenty of time to ask questions. Sign up for free today!
